Matteo Marangoni is an artist interested in ritual arenas, home brewed inventions and applied utopianism. Involved with grassroots organizations since the age of 16 in his hometown of Florence, he studied music performance and cultural management before moving to The Hague, where he obtained his masters diploma from the Art Science Interfaculty in 2011. He is founding chairman of The Hague based artist-run platform iii, which supports radical interdisciplinary practices through a broad program of research, production, presentation and distribution activities, and has recently co-founded a new cultural incubator at Willem Dreespark in The Hague, which is expected to provide work spaces for 50 artists within 2018.
